RED GATE AWARDED APIPS TASK ORDER BY WASHINGTON HEADQUARTERS SERVICE (WHS) SUPPORTING INNOVATIVE ACQUISITIONS FOR WARFIGHTING CAPABILITIES

The Red Gate Group, Ltd. (“Red Gate”), has been awarded a task order by the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) to provide program support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD A&S) for the Acquisition Policy & Innovation (API) Directorate.  

The contract involves supporting API's mission to enable innovative acquisition approaches for timely delivery of capabilities to the Warfighter and delivery of timely access to acquisition data to the Defense community facilitating program oversight, accountability, and decision making for the portfolio of major programs. Red Gate will assist in developing, implementing, and updating acquisition policies and practices across all Acquisition Pathways, including Urgent Capability Acquisition, Middle Tier Acquisition, and Major Capability Acquisition.

This multi-year contract was issued under the Analytic and Technical Support Services (ATSS) vehicle and represents new work for Red Gate. WHS’ ATSS provides professional services to acquire technical support, technical studies, and R&D projects in support of OSD and the DoD 4th Estate.

Key aspects of the contract include:

• Supporting $2 Trillion in Warfighting capabilities decision-making across all Acquisition Pathways, including Urgent Capability Acquisition; Middle Tier Acquisition; Major Capability Acquisition; Software Acquisition; Services Acquisition; and Defense Business System Acquisition.
• Supporting the delivery of timely access to accurate, authoritative, and reliable acquisition data to the Defense community.
  

This award reaffirms Red Gate’s partnership with WHS and OSD and strengthens our position as a prime provider of professional and technical service support to the Department of Defense.
