​Challenge: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) was having trouble attracting and retaining qualified employees.

Solution: Red Gate’s team created a strategy for transforming VA’s employee engagement, and a network which now fosters a renewed sense of purpose for VA employees. Our team also supports veterans directly through improved education and assistance finding federal employment.

Result: VA has seen an increase in employee engagement and retention – and veterans receive faster and improved access to services. Through this strategy, we are helping VA change and put veterans first.

Federal Bureau of Investigation

Challenge: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was faced with creating a system to implement the National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards, which were developed under presidential direction after a significant incident of insider espionage.

Solution: Red Gate’s team created the strategy for and helped stand up the FBI’s Insider Threat Center (ITC). We continue to help sustain this program and provide guidance for growing its influence.

Result: An audit of the ITC performed by the Office of the Inspector General in late 2017 indicated that the FBI had made “much progress…in developing analytical tools to aid in identifying and coordinating the investigation into potential insider threats.” This critical capability helps the FBI counter malicious insider attacks and preserve the principles of our intelligence complex.
