The Red Gate Group, Ltd. ("Red Gate") has been awarded a multi-year task order by the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) to provide technical support services to the office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASD SOLIC).

Under this contract, issued through the Analytic and Technical Support Services (ATSS) vehicle, Red Gate will support DoD policy development in critical areas including special operations, counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, and counter-unmanned systems.

Key aspects of the contract include:

• Providing technical support for ASD SOLIC's mission, focusing on policies and plans relating to special operations in counterterrorism, irregular warfare, and counter-unmanned systems
• Delivering technical and programmatic analysis, along with short, medium, and long-range policy, planning, and strategy development support

This task order represents new work for Red Gate and reinforces the company's position as a prime provider of professional and technical service support to the DoD.

The Office of the ASD SOLIC oversees all DoD policies and plans related to special operations, with particular emphasis on counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, sensitive special operations, and counter-unmanned systems.

The Red Gate Group, LTD (“Red Gate”) received the official award for the Department of Transportation (DOT) Volpe Center Transportation Traffic Engineering, Operations, and Information Systems (TTEOIS) on Friday, December 1, 2023 – officially launching the task order.

Red Gate teamed this opportunity with Mosaic ATM, a premier aviation research and development company designing the next generation of air traffic management (ATM), air traffic control (ATC), and unmanned aircraft system (UAS) solutions. The contract has a total valuation of $5 million for its two-year ordering period. 

Red Gate was awarded the task order out of three offerors on the OASIS Small Business (SB) Pool 1 contract vehicle – which provides a competitive environment amongst highly qualified and experienced companies. 

The core mission of TTEOIS is to develop enterprise information services which publish transportation traffic-related data and are discoverable by users and stakeholders. Additionally, Red Gate will strive to develop enterprise information services which publish transportation traffic-related data and are discoverable by users and stakeholders; develop and refine transportation traffic concepts and operational constructs underpinned by rigorous analysis and industry-standard engineering processes. As a result, Red Gate will modernize legacy automation systems and infrastructure assets. 

Key services for the contract include data modeling, data exchange, concept and requirements development, concept evaluation, systems and architecture design, and operational and safety assessments.
