Rob Cordray has joined Red Gate as the company’s Chief Growth Officer. Mr. Cordray, an Army veteran and corporate executive, is uniquely suited to join the Red Gate team, bringing more than two decades of experience in business development, operations management, and strategic planning to this role. His experience comprises working with a number of defense and intelligence agencies, interagency partners, and special operations clients. Red Gate President T.J. Iak says, “Rob is bringing tremendous talent, work ethic, and discipline that will only enhance our company. We could not be more excited about the value and energy he will add to our entire organization.” Previously, Mr. Cordray served as a Division Vice President and U.S. Army Account Executive at General Dynamics Information Technology, and as the director of capture and proposals at Celestar Corporation. Prior to that, he served in a number of increasingly-responsible positions at JBM, serving in Army communities across the country. Mr. Cordray is a 1997 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a field artillery officer, training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and eventually deploying to Kosovo. He then served at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia as a contract senior operations analyst for the Army’s 1st Information Operations Command, where he worked on tactical, operational and strategic operations. Mr. Cordray’s second deployment was to Iraq to work with conventional and special operations forces across that country. Visit Mr. Cordray's LinkedIn profile for more information about his responsibilities at Red Gate and his professional background, or email him at robert.cordray@redgategrp.com. Red Gate will be holding its second annual Red Gate Group Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training opportunity over two weekends in October 2018. Employees new to LSS will earn their Green Belt upon the successful completion of the program, and those who participated in last year’s training can earn credits toward their LSS Black Belt certification requirements. There is no charge for employees to participate.
T.J. Iak, president of Red Gate, says “Training our employees in Lean Six Sigma benefits the company from an organizational and process standpoint, but more than that, it gives our staff an opportunity to continue to grow. They work on real company problems while in training, so the training also fosters collaboration and connection across teams who may not otherwise work together.” Red Gate’s resident instructor, Tom Heard, is an expert in organizational process management and a certified LSS trainer. He has taught multiple Lean Six Sigma courses and has graciously offered to help Red Gate continue this in-house training and certification program.
