The Red Gate Group, Ltd. (Red Gate) participated in the official kickoff of the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Analytical & Technical Support Services (ATSS) on Wednesday - officially launching the contract vehicle. Red Gate was previously awarded the WHS ATSS multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract has a $1.5 billion ceiling for its five-year ordering period. Red Gate is one of only four companies to be awarded the small business pool – which provides a competitive environment for Department of Defense (DoD) requirements amongst highly qualified and experienced companies - yet reduces risks for acquisition delays that have plagued much larger contract vehicles/schedule competitions. The core mission of ATSS is to provide a flexible and responsive contract for analytic and technical support services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and their subordinate entities and is overseen by the DoD Washington Headquarters Service (WHS). In addition to WHS’s core customers, the ATSS contract also services the entire Department of Defense “Fourth Estate” – critical agencies and field activities that support the DoD mission – that include the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Key services for the contract include acquisition and sustainment oversight support, capability portfolio management, engineering and agile methodologies, acquisition intelligence, policy analysis and support, business and financial, international programs and security, legislative analysis and support, data science, data analytics, data governance, and technical support. “With a very limited pool of IDIQ awardees, this contract is a great opportunity for Forth Estate customers who are exhausted by long acquisition delays,” said Rob Cordray, Red Gate’s Chief Growth Officer. “We are excited to work with our DoD customers and business partners who are looking for a more agile contract vehicle – reducing procurement timelines so we can all focus on delivering customer outcomes faster.” TJ is a cofounder of Red Gate and has been a crucial part of the company since 2006. A military veteran and corporate executive, TJ has over 20 years of experience in organizational and business transformations, as well as the development of technical capabilities and business practices to support critical organizational programs. Additionally, TJ served as a combat engineer officer at the United States Army Engineer Corps and holds a bachelor's degree in economics with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science from the United States Military Academy. ”It is truly an honor to serve as the CEO of Red Gate.
